The Sun International Top 100 chase runs from 24 March until 6 April and the grand prize of R1 million for one winner will be given away on 7 April at 19h00.

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who fall into category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. This promotion is open to  SunMVG cardholders only;
  2. A member cannot give their cards to another person to play with in their absence;
  3. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  4. In case of a system malfunction, management decision is final;
  5. Points are allocated to MVG accounts only;
  6. Both slots and tables casino points qualify for SunChase
  7. Only valid casino points will be considered in the tally. Gaming management will conduct audits of casino points earned during the promotional period and prior to the finalisation of the top 10. Casino points erroneously allocated will be rectified upon an audit of casino points earned;
  8. Qualifiers will be contacted by VIP Services and informed of their status;
  9. Prizes for the casino points earners will be paid over to them without them being required to be present at the final
  10. All winners will be required to have a valid picture identification (valid Passport, SA Identity Document or SA Driver's License) and their MVG card;
  11. If the winner does not have a valid form of identification as per point 10 above, the top 10 will be recalculated excluding the member with no identification;

Unit LeaderBoard

  1. The leaderboard must be displaying the members current standings at all times between the 10 Feb  to 24 Mar
  2. Eligibility for any of the prizes won at the Unit finale will be based upon MVG casino points earned with the following criteria: MVG casino points earned at the Sun International Unit during the earn period 10 Feb 7am to 23 Mar 7am
  3. The top 10 members, determined by their position on the leaderboard, which is based on the casino points earned will be awarded prizes;
  4. The unit final qualifiers will be determined on 24 March 2018 19h00;
  5. Prize money will be handed to the guests discreetly;

Group LeaderBoard

  1. The leaderboard must be displaying the members current standings at all times between 24 Mar to 07 Apr
  2. Eligibility for the second leg of this promotion, to get the top 100, will be based upon MVG casino points earned with the following criteria: MVG casino points earned at ALL Sun International Units during the earn period 10 Feb 7am to 23 Mar 7am
  3. Only the top 100 casino points earners based on the above criteria will be considered;
  4. In the event of a tie for the 100th place, the tied casino points earners will all be included, notwithstanding the fact that this will result in more than 100 finalists;
  5. Eligibility for any of the prizes won at the Group finale will be based upon MVG casino points earned with the following criteria: MVG casino points earned at ALL Sun International Units during the earn period 24 Mar 7am to 06 Apr 7am
  6. The top 10 members, determined by their position on the leaderboard, which is based on the casino points earned will be awarded prizes
  7. The group final qualifiers will be available by 07 April 2018 19h00;
  8. Prize money will be handed to the guests discreetly;

General

  1. In the event of technical failure or damage to the devices used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the respective Gambling Boards will be notified of any such change;
  2. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  3. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  4. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Respective Gambling Boards in the event of a dispute;
  5. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  6. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  7. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
  8. Sun International may add to the rules of this promotion in the interest of fairness to all participants, subject to approval by the respective Gambling Boards.
  9. All communications regarding this promotion constitute part of the rules
  10. Anyone who is self-excluded or banned is automatically excluded from participation and has no claim to any rewards or prizes
