On arrival

• Check-in and do the whole jumping-on-the-bed thing. Repeat.

• Enjoy the arcade at the entertainment centre or catch a movie (click here for more info).

Day 1

• Let the fun begin! After breakfast, start the day with a dip at the Valley of Waves.
  Top tip! Remember to take a family photo - the golden sands and bluer-than-blue waters make for an envy-inducing photo background.
• Next up, kids can enjoy Kamp Kwena while mom and dad try to bump up their retirement fund at the casino. There's also mini golf and mini quad biking for mini adventurers.
• As the late afternoon sun shows off, round up the troops and indulge poolside cocktail. Afterwards, check out Animal World and if your kids haven't got their fill of animal adventure, visit Crocodile Village, Sun City's very own croc sanctuary.
• End the day the way it started: with smiles and a dip at the Valley of Waves.

Day 2

• Wake up bright and early and enjoy an early morning game drive at the nearby Pilanesberg National Park – it's home to the Big 5. Don't forget to pack a jersey for your game drive, as it's chilly in the mornings.
• Get lost at the largest permanent maze in the Southern Hemisphere! The Maze of the Lost City is a unique experience that the whole family can share.
• After working up a sweat at the maze, cool down at one of Sun City's famous pools. Our suggestion? The Royal Bath is a great place to watch the afternoon disappear and it's accessible to day visitors and Sun City residents.
• But don't relax too much! There's so much do at Sun City… How's about taking a Segway safari? The kids are sure to love it and you'll be surprised to admit how much you love it too, trust us on this one...
• As the sky swallows the sun, enjoy a family meal at The Ocean Basket and swap holiday highlights with your kids.

Day of departure

As you prepare to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, don't forget to enjoy a yummy breakfast at Crystal Court – the breakfast buffet should be on your food bucket list!
