Promotion Mechanics

  • Guests must be registered on the MVG Programme to participate.
  • Ticket receipts will be printed from the Rewards Centre on the day of the draw.
  • Ticket printing will close 15 minutes before the draw.
  • Guests must be present with their MVG card, ID and ticket receipt for verification.
  • Guests must be present at the draw in order to claim a prize.
  • Guests can win once in each Prize Group should it be applicable for that draw.
  • The first ticket to be drawn and verified, will choose 1 of the 10 envelops with the prize stipulated inside the envelope.
  • Except for the Car draw, where the second Prize group will be drawn last.
  • Each winning letter will stipulate which Samsung prize the guest has won. All envelopes will be sealed and the guest, once verified, will choose an envelope to find out which prize has been won.

Qualification criteria

Promotion is open to all MVG cardholders who have earned the required number of points over the promotional period (20 January to 30 March 2016).

Rules

  1. No person under the age of 18 may participate in the promotion.
  2. Guests must have a valid Maroon, Silver, Gold or Platinum MVG card.
  3. Participants earn points by playing Sun City slots or tables whilst using their MVG cards.
  4. To qualify for the draw, MVG cardholders need to earn the required points as listed in the table.
  5. Entries for the draw are only valid on the draw date printed on the draw ticket.
  6. Ticket Receipt printing closes 15 minutes before each draw.
  7. No late entries will be accepted and only one draw ticket will be printed.
  8. A guest may only win once per draw prize group.
  9. Tickets are not transferable.
  10. Draw tickets can be printed from 08h30 until 15 min before the draw on the day of the draw.
  11. Should the guest’s MVG card status be downgraded (or upgraded) before the printing of draw tickets they will qualify for the new downgraded (or upgraded) club status draw.
  12. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random draw during the electronic draws.  Draw times and dates; and points criteria to earn tickets, will be advertised through mediums used for this promotion.
  13. Tickets presented for redemption must be verifiably the player’s own.
  14. Winning ticket holders must be present at the draw with a valid MVG card, valid ID and ticket for verification purposes within 120 seconds of the ticket being drawn.
  15. Should the relevant winner not be available, not be verified as the ticket owner, or cannot provide their MVG Card and valid ID within 120 seconds then a redraw will take place.
  16. An electronic version of proof of ID using CMP guest profile will be accepted if available. If there is no electronic version on CMP and no other means of identification, a redraw will take place.
  17. This promotion may be terminated without prior notification; where after the validity of all tickets will be withdrawn, subject to approval by the North West Gambling Board.
  18. This promotion is closed to all employees of Sun City Resort, shareholders and contractors of Sun International, their advertising agencies, suppliers of prizes and their immediate Sun City Resort may add to the rules of this promotion in the interest of fairness to all participants, subject to approval by the North West Gambling Board.
  19. All communications regarding this promotion constitute part of the rules.
  20. All prizes will be paid out / issued subject to ticket verification.
  21. It is a specific condition of entry that the Player agrees to be governed by these rules, and any other decisions that the company officials may make.
  22. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised.  Prize winners must sigh for the receipt of prizes.
  23. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into.
  24. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified.
  25. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of management.
  26. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  27. Participation in this promotion implies full acceptance of the rules of this promotion.
  28. Anyone who is self-excluded or banned is automatically excluded from participation and has no claim to any rewards or prizes.
  29. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
  30. All entrants will only be eligible to win once in each prize group depending if applicable to the draw prize breakdown.
