Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. MVG members will receive one free ticket allocation;
  2. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Sunday | 6, 13, 20 and 27 August 2023
    • Draw Times               | 16h00
    • Ticket Issue               | From 12h00 on draw date
  3. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draw;
  4. Prize winners will be selected by way of random selection through E-draw;
  5. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  6. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their MVG loyalty card and valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  7. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  8. The total prize value is up to R120 000 in cash;
  9. R30 000 cash is allocated per promotional date and broken down as follows:
    • R20 000 cash is allocated to the selected players which consists of R4 000 for each of the five players;
    • R10 000 is allocated for the spin the wheel as additional prizes for these five winners;
  10. At the draw, at 16h00 five participants are selected;
  11. Once selected, players will be offered R4 000 cash plus a chance to spin the wheel and win up to R5 000 additional cash;
  12. The player will have one chance to spin the wheel;
  13. The wheel must spin a minimum of two revolutions for a spin to be valid;
  14. The amount that the arrow lands on is verified by the slots representative and paid out to the guest;
  15. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  16. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  17. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  18. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  19. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  20. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  21. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  22. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force
