Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. MVG members will receive one free ticket into the draws;
  2. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Monday |2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 January 2023    | 21h00 and 22h00
  3. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
  4. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw day;
  5. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
  6. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  7. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of the winning ticket, their MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  8. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  9. Five qualifying participants will be drawn per session each winning R2000 in cash and the opportunity to win extra cash via the Money Shower promotional tool mechanism;
  10. Each participant will have 60 seconds to grab as much money as possible;
  11. The total amount of money won via this mechanism will be added to the R2 000 won via the draw;
  12. Participants will have the option to nominate someone else to go into the Money Shower machine on their behalf; 
  13. The total prize value of this promotion is R150 000 cash;
  14. On each draw day at 21h00, R10 000 in cash will be given away, consisting of five R2 000 cash winners, who will each stand a chance to win a share of R10 000 via the money shower mechanism;
  15. On each draw day at 22h00, R10 000 in cash will be given away, consisting of five R2 000 cash winners, who will each stand a chance to win a share of R10 000 via the money shower mechanism;
  16. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  17. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  18. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  19. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  20. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  21. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  22. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  23. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  24. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
