Draw Dates

Every Thursday in October and November at 20h00 and 21h00.

Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  1. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  2. Sun MVG members will receive a free ticket allocation based on card type:
    1. Silver Sun MVG members will receive one (1) ticket entry into the draws;
    2. Gold Sun MVG members will receive two (2) ticket entries into the draws;
    3. Platinum Sun MVG members will receive four (4) ticket entries into the draws;
    4. Diamond Sun MVG members will receive six (6) ticket entries into the draws;
  3. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    1. Promotion period: Thursdays 8, 15, 22, and 29 October 2020; and 5 ,12, 19, and 26 November 2020
    2. Draw time: 20h00 to 21h00
  4. Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
  5. Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw day;
  6. Prize winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
  7. Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
  8. Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their Sun MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
  9. Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
  10. The total prize value of this promotion is over R800 000;
  11. On the draw day at 20h00, R13 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R2 000, R2 000, R4 000 and R5 000 respectively;
  12. On the draw day at 21h00, R87 000 in cash will be given away consisting of R10 000, R12 000, R15 000, R20 000 and R30 000 respectively;
  13. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  14. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  15. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  16. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  17. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  18. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  19. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  20. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.
