Rules

  1. No person under 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion;
  2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order or who is self-excluded or who falls into the category of excluded persons is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion;
  3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members;
  1. The promotion runs on the following dates and times:
    • Ticket collection | Monday, 31 October 2022 | From 15h00
    • Draw | Monday, 31 October 2022 | 19h00 and 20h00
    • Mystery | Monday, 31 October 2022 | 21h00 to 22h00
  2. 5 The draw:
    • MVG members will receive one free ticket entry into the draws;
    • Ticket issue will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of the draws on each respective draw day;
    • Tickets will not be accumulated or carried forward to a subsequent draw and will only be valid for each respective draw;
    • Eight winners will be selected by way of a random selection through E-draw;
    • Draw announcements will be made on the casino floor and winners will be informed of prize collection location;
    • Prize winners will be given 180 seconds (three minutes) to present themselves and must be in possession of their Sun MVG loyalty card and a valid picture identification (Passport, SA Bar-coded Identity Book or Card, SA Driver’s License);
    • Should the prize winner not present themselves within 180 seconds (three minutes), a redraw will take place;
    • Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
  3. 6. The mystery:
    1. Qualifying participants must be actively playing slots or tables during the promotional time period to be eligible;
    2. Ten prize winners will be randomly selected by way of EBS – Power Winners;
    3. Tables prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes;
    4. Slots prize winners will have their prizes downloaded directly onto their cards;
  4. 7. The total prize value of the promotion is R200 000 consisting of:
    1. R100 000 cash via a draw at 19h00 and 20h00.  At each draw R50 000 will be given away consisting of R5 000, R10 000, R15 000 and R20 000 cash prizes respectively;
    2. R100 000 Xtra Play will be given away via the mysteries between 21h00 and 22h00. Ten prize winners will each receive R10 000 in Xtra Play;
  5. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration;
  6. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised;
  7. In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
  8. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into;
  9. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a dispute;
  10. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
  11. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
