Selection of five participants via EBS – Power Winners;
Each participant will be given a numbered lanyard, one to five, and will play the game in that order, as selected via the Power Winner mechanism;
Participants have two chances to select a box and reveal a prize from the 10-box promotional game tool;
The combined value of the prizes revealed will be the total amount of cash that the participant has won.
All 10 of the boxes contain cash prizes as per the prize split below.

Rules

Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotional competition (“promotional competition”).
This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition.

Participants will receive entry for the draws based on points earned per tier as below:

Draw 1:

MVG members must earn casino points from 06h45 on Friday, 14 February 2025 to 06h45 on Sunday, 16 March 2025 as indicated per tier below:
- Silver MVGs earn one entry for one (1) casino point earned over the earning period.
- Gold MVGs earn one entry for two (2) casino points earned over the earning period.
- Platinum MVGs earn one entry for three (3) casino points earned over the earning period.
- Diamond MVGs earn one entry for four (4) casino points earned over the earning period.

Draw 2:

MVG members must earn casino points from 06h45 on Friday, 14 February 2025 to 06h45 on Friday, 11 April 2025 as indicated per tier:
- Silver MVGs earn one entry for two (2) casino points earned over the earning period.
- Gold MVGs earn one entry for four (4) casino points earned over the earning period.
- Platinum MVGs earn one entry for six (6) casino points earned over the earning period.
- Diamond MVGs earn one entry for eight (8) casino points earned over the earning period.

Draw 3:

MVG members must earn casino points from 06h45 on Friday, 14 February 2025 to 06h45 on Saturday, 26 April 2025 as indicated per tier:
- • Silver MVGs earn one entry for three (3) casino points earned over the earning period.
- • Gold MVGs earn one entry for six (6) casino points earned over the earning period.
- • Platinum MVGs earn one entry for nine (9) casino points earned over the earning period.
- • Diamond MVGs earn one entry for twelve (12) casino points earned over the earning period.

Draw 4:

MVG members must earn 20 casino points from 06h45 on Friday, 14 February 2025 to 06h45 on Sunday, 27 April 2025 to qualify for the draw.

Participants will earn casino points playing slots or tables using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme.
Bonus points do not count towards the casino points earned during the promotional period.

The number of draw entries a participant may be eligible for may be communicated prior to the draw. In such instances the number of draw entries communicated is subject to variation. Variation may occur due to the difference in time between the data extraction and the time when draw entries are activated by the participant. In the event of bonus draw entries, which are awarded based on card tier, such entries are also subject to variation due to the timing of card tier regrades.
Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. The number of valid entries is limited to 100 per draw.

Promotional dates and times may change. Such changes will be advertised on property without any changes to the dates and times in these rules. Participants are required to take note of any changes prior to the actual day and time of the draw.
Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) at the casino prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which entry is open. The opening and closing times for the entry to the draw(s) at the casino will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
Entries will close automatically 15 minutes prior to the start of draws on each respective draw day.
Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw. Participants who are present for the draw must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The participant concerned must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG loyalty card and/or government issued identification document/card or passport to be eligible for the prize.
Should the prize winner not present themselves within 120 seconds (two minutes), a redraw will take place.
A participant who does not wish to be present at the draw may nominate a proxy for draw(s) held on a specific day to represent him/her at the draw by completing a proxy form at the casino prior to the draw subject to the terms and conditions set out in the proxy form. Only the participant who was selected as the winner (and not the proxy) will be entitled to the prize(s) subject to these rules.
The participant agrees that the proxy is only permitted to represent him/her at draws on a specific date. Where a proxy is representing multiple participants on the same draw date, the corresponding participants will be disqualified. Where prizes were issued to a proxy that was representing multiple participants as aforesaid, the coIf a participant/proxy is not present for the draw or does not present himself or herself within the specified time with the corresponding printed or electronic ticket, personalised MVG card or identification document; or if he or she cannot be identified by the casino in the above manner within the 120 seconds concerned, a redraw will occur for another prize winner without any compensation.
In the event of a technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotion, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method may be used, at the sole discretion of Management and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes;
The total prize value of this promotional competition is over R1 200 000:
- At Draw 1, at 21h00 a total amount of R57 500 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R2 500 (Silver), 1 x R10 000 (Gold), 1 x R20 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R25 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 1, at 22h00, a total amount of R57 500 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R2 500 (Silver), 1 x R10 000 (Gold), 1 x R20 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R25 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 2, at 21h00 a total amount of R75 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R5 000 (Silver), 1 x R15 000 (Gold), 1 x R25 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R30 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 2, at 22h00 a total amount of R75 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R5 000 (Silver), 1 x R15 000 (Gold), 1 x R25 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R30 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 3, at 21h00 a total amount of R100 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R10 000 (Silver), 1 x R20 000 (Gold), 1 x R30 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R40 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 3, at 22h00 a total amount of R100 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R10 000 (Silver), 1 x R20 000 (Gold), 1 x R30 000 (Platinum) and 1 x R40 000 (Diamond).
- At Draw 4, at 21h00 a total amount of R60 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R15 000, 1 x R20 000 and 1 x R25 000.
- At Draw 4, at 22h000, a total amount of R75 000 in cash will be issued as prizes as follows: 1 x R25 000 and 1 x R50 000 together with a Toyota Fortuner motor vehicle valued at over R680 00 will be given away.
Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
In the event that the promotional competition provides prize winners the opportunity to risk their prize for a higher value prize or another prize altogether, the prize winner concerned will not be compensated for losing the prize he/she risked. In such instance, the prize concerned will be returned to the prize pool.
Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. Participants do, however, have the option to approach the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board in the event of a gambling-related dispute.
Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of Management, and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of such changes.
Every participant/proxy in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.

Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the promotional competition where such changes benefit the participants (excluding earning criteria).
