Shake the back to work blues with award winning comedian, David Kau will be dishing out the funnies at Flamingo’s Bar 129 on 13 January 2018. Come and experience the lighter side of the season as Kau delivers one of his outrageously standup shows. Fans are urged to book their seats sooner rather than later and Kau’s shows are renowned for selling out fast. Tickets can be purchased at the casino and cost R80 per person.

The funniest thing to come out of Kroonstad, legendary comedian David Kau, first burst onto the local comedy scene in 1998 when he became the first black comedian ever to perform at the Smirnoff Comedy Festival in Cape Town. Since then he’s earned a solid following of fans and racked-up numerous plaudits for his effervescent wit and incisive social commentary.

Always current, seriously sharp and never shy, Kau has toured across the continent, starred on both big and small screens and kick-started the massively-successful, annual Blacks Only Comedy Festival. His witty, honest and unapologetically-funny outlook on everything South African continues to earn him a strong following.
