Empire is a six-piece band made up of aspiring musicians from various backgrounds who are all based in Kimberley, Northern Cape. Empire is comprised of Elrico Tieties (Drummer and Founder of the band), Fagan Scheffers (Bass Guitarist), Justin Jacobs (Keyboardist) and Vocalists, Celeste Magano, Selvin Jacobs and Session Musician Guitarist.
Boosting the ability to perform different genres such as jazz (African, International & local), R&B, Fusion soul, Lang-Arm and Gospel, Empire has performed at Gala Dinners, Award ceremonies, Club Events, Festivals ( Diamond and Dorings, Jazz on the Rocks, Macufe) to mentioned but a few.
