Wander the Waterfront
With world-class retail therapy and a glut of great restaurants, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (V&A Waterfront) has something to suit every palate and pocket. But it’s also known for its undiscovered corners, such as a self-guided walking trail that unpacks the history of the precinct and Chavonnes Battery Museum, which traces the old fortifications of the harbour. Alongside many popular tourist attractions, the V&A Waterfront is also home to the South African Maritime Museum and can be accessed via a private entrance from The Table Bay hotel.
