Sun International in association with Heineken SA and Sun Bet are proud to bring you a new, exciting, bigger and better PGA Pro Am. Join us as we tee it up for 72 holes over 2 of SA's iconic golf courses, the Gary Player Country Club golf course and the Lost City Golf Course at Sun City from the 23rd to 28th of June 2019. "Open your World" to a refreshed championship and enjoy an "Ice Cold Heineken" with your friends!

Get your 3 ball team together and encourage your Local PGA Professional to be your teams Pro or if you are an individual golfer and you would like to compete over 72 Holes we will pair you up with 2 other amateurs and a PGA Pro. Entries are limited.

Tournament Information

Teams

A team consists of 1 Pro and 3 Amateur Golfers. If you don't have a Pro, the PGA will provide on for you. Priority of Pro's as follows:

  • PGA Members
  • Apprentices, preference as follows: Post Graduate, Pending Graduate, Year 2, Year 2, Year 1.

Tournament Format

  • 72 Holes
  • 4-ball Alliance Stablefors with 2 scores to count
  • Pro Individual Stableford
  • Pro's play off scratch and all Amateurs play off a handicap of 75% of the calculated course handicap. Max. 24 (Men). Max. 36 (Ladies)
  • All amateurs require an Official Handicap to participate
  • All golfers will play each course twice
