The Samsung Hall of Fame Roaming Exhibition at Carnival City will be open to the public on Saturday the 9th of April 2016, and will run until Sunday the 24th of April 2016. It will be housed in the Mardi Gras events arena at Carnival City and sport lovers of all ages are encouraged to show their support for our fantastic sports culture by visiting this one-of-a-kind exhibition.
Among the attractions will be the opportunity to test your skills with virtual simulators for golf, rugby and soccer disciplines. Visitors will also get an exclusive look at what they can expect from the future home of the South African Sport Hall of Fame at Sun City along with the opportunity to meet and greet some of their favourite sporting stars from today and yesteryear. Live sporting events will be broadcast on a big screen, including Super Rugby matches with celebrity guests on 9, 17 and 23 April such as Danie Gerber, Chester Williams, Derick Hougaard and more, so bring the whole family for a fun day out at Carnival City.
The official partners of the SA Sport Hall of Fame will also be showcasing their latest products, including Samsung and Subaru. Food, drinks and sport clothing and memorabilia will be available for purchase from various exhibitors. Share an experience where excellence and performance will be showcased and enjoy the opportunity to be part of a lasting legacy in South African sporting history.
Opening times are 11:00 – 20:00 on Sundays through Thursdays, and 10:00 – 21:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. A nominal entrance fee will apply with special discount for families and groups. The Samsung Hall of Fame Roaming Exhibition will make its way across the country to several other Sun International properties during the next year so keep an eye on the press for more details.
