Book tickets“Angingedwa: This Is My Story” is a musical produced by Artistry Talent Management to showcase an original autobiography of South African living legend Dr Rebecca Malope through Acting, Singing and Dancing. The inaugural event will be on the 3rd of December 2016 at the Carnival City Big Top Arena with the greater vision being to take the show on tour across at least 5 South African provinces in 2017.
Dr Rebecca Malope has been in the industry as a musician since 1986 and 2016 marks her 30th year as a performing artist. Throughout her 30 year career span she has won numerous national and international awards, released 35 successful gospel albums, been the highest selling female artist in South Africa, received an honorary doctorate as a spiritual healer, performed all over the world and been dubbed the “Queen Of Gospel”.
Despite all of her remarkable accomplishments and accolades, her life story has not been all gold and glitter. It is one filled with tremendous heartaches and struggles. It is a story of resilience, determination and a true test of faith. This is the tale that will be turned into a one of a kind musical on the 3rd of December 2016. With surprise guest performances from people Dr Rebecca has worked with over the passed 30 years and a cast filled with talented performers.
