"Revue" is a very popular concept and event, done by almost every school in South Africa, singing and dancing in unison, leaving a smile on people's faces. Just like any other school, Hoërskool Stoffberg started doing "Revue" 31 years ago with a humble piano as a backtrack in the corner of a hall with kids leaving their heart and souls behind on the stage floor after each performance.
Year after year the talent on display became something extraordinary and the label of doing "Revue" did not justify the true quality of talent attracted by the school. In 2019, the newly appointed director (Adriaan Ten Napel) made the call to re-brand and break away from the concept of "Revue" and gave the unique talent a name of their own to embrace this unique exhibition.
In 2023 Hoërskool Stoffberg will perform the third rendition of their Production in the well-known Mardi Gras theatre at Carnival City on the 8th, 9th, AND 10TH of August. Produksie 3 features a wide variety of hits in Afrikaans and English from the 80's, 90's 2000's and now, performed by the talented children of Hoërskool Stoffberg.
On the 10th of August the cast of Produksie 3 will have the privilege of sharing the stage with Elvis Blue, where they will be performing some of his greatest hits alongside the man himself.
