Poker is one of the most popular table games worldwide and there are many different variations and styles in which it’s played. Ultimately each player is aiming for the highest hand.
The fun and tension come in when players try to fool one another into thinking they have the best hands when they don't! This common technique is called bluffing, hence the term ‘poker face’ which describes the bland expression players practise to be convincing.
