Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Swift Summa Cash & Car promotional competition (“promotional competition”).
  2. This promotional competition is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this promotional competition. Any person who has supplied any goods or services in connection with this promotional competition will not be eligible for any prizes.
  3. Participants earn points to qualify for draw entry tickets during the promotional period which commences on the following dates and times by playing slots or tables whilst using their Sun MVG cards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme:
    • 08h00 1 March to 27 March 23h59 for the 29 March draws
  1. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. A maximum of 100 entries will be permitted per promotional draw.
  2. Where applicable, the images of the prize(s) used in advertisements or displays may not necessarily be the actual prize(s), model(s) or specification(s) issued as prizes. The relevant information may be sought from the casino.
  3. Draw participants will be determined by a random draw (including the Elite Bonussing Suite (“EBS”)). Prize winners will be selected by way of random draw, or their prizes will be determined by way of their selection of mystery boxes or promotional props.
  4. Participants who are present for the draw must present themselves to the promotional jockey within 120 seconds of their names being drawn. The participant concerned must produce the corresponding printed or electronic ticket and government issued identification document/card or passport to be eligible for the prize.
  5. A participant who does not wish to be present at the draw may nominate a proxy for draw(s) held on a specific day to represent him/her at the draw by completing a proxy form at the casino prior to the draw subject to the terms and conditions set out in the proxy form. Only the participant who was selected as the winner (and not the proxy) will be entitled to the prize(s) subject to these rules.
  6. The participant agrees that the proxy is only permitted to represent him/her at draws on a specific date. Where a proxy is representing multiple participants on the same draw date, the corresponding participants will be disqualified. Where prizes were issued to a proxy that was representing multiple participants as aforesaid, the corresponding participant agrees to return the prize(s) to the casino without compensation.
  7. If a participant/proxy is not present for the draw or does not present himself or herself within the specified time with the corresponding printed or electronic ticket and identification document within the 120 seconds concerned, a redraw will occur for another prize winner without any compensation.
  8. The respective prizes, draw times and dates, and points earning criteria to qualify for entry tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotional competition.
  9. Participants must activate their entry into the draw(s) on the day of the draw(s) at the casino prior to the actual draw(s) within the specified times during which entry is open. The opening and closing times for the entry to the draw(s) at the casino will be advertised through mediums used by the casino.
  10. Participants who are selected through the Elite Bonussing Suite (“EBS”) on the gaming system whilst actively playing slots or tables and achieving the predetermined threshold, will select a promotional prop to reveal their prize after being verified by the promotional team. For the car prize that will be awarded on 28 February 2025, the participant must produce positive identification in the form of a South African identification document/card or drivers license or a passport to be verified following their selection through the EBS and prior to proceeding to selecting a random unmarked key. Where the afore-going participant does not produce the identification concerned, he/she will forfeit the opportunity to select a key, and another random selection will be conducted.
  11. In the event that the promotional competition provides prize winners the opportunity to risk their prize for a higher or lower value prize or another prize altogether, the prize winner concerned will not be compensated for losing the prize which he/she risked or any part thereof.
  12. The number of draw entries a participant may be eligible for may be communicated prior to the draw. In such instances the number of draw entries communicated is subject to variation.
  13. Variation may occur due to the difference in time between the data extraction and the time when draw entries are activated by the participant. In the event of bonus draw entries, which are awarded based on card tier, such entries are also subject to variation due to the timing of card tier regrades. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that all of their applicable entries are reflected on their kiosk slips or Sun App (if applicable) prior to the draw. Queries must be put to management prior to the commencement of the draw, failing which the number of entries as reflected in the draw will be applied without any recourse.
  14. Participants consent by virtue of their participation that their personal information, including but not limited to, their name, surname, and/or Sun MVG number, being announced or displayed by the casino.
  15. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  16. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. A dispute may be lodged with the ECGB.
  17. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  18. In the event of technical failure, malfunction or damage to the device used during the promotional competition for the selection of prizes and prize winners, irrespective of the cause thereof, another suitable device or method will be used at the sole discretion of management. Participants further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the casino company, its owners, directors, employees and agents in the event of any malfunction or technical failure, or in respect of any act or omission including, but not limited to negligence, on the part of any of the afore-going persons which may cause harm or damage in any form to any participant. In such instances, the participant concerned also agrees to waive any right he/she that may have existed in terms of this promotional competition, and that he/she exempts and releases all of the afore-going persons from any and all liability, claims, actions, demands, choices in action and damages which they now or may have at any time in the future.
  19. Every participant/proxy in the promotional competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  20. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights including but not limited to enforcing these rules in future or similar circumstances that resulted in the exception or deviation concerned.
  21. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  22. These rules are the official rules for this promotional competition and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  23. Management reserves the right to terminate this promotional competition without prior notice and without any compensation, or to enhance prizes or increase the number of prizes or vary other aspects of the promotional competition where such changes benefit the participants (excluding earning criteria).
