Derby Dash Tuesdays Gaming Promotion Rules

  1. Any person who is under 18 years, or who has been excluded, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in the Derby Dash Tuesdays gaming promotion (“gaming promotion”).
  2. This gaming promotion is exclusive to Sun MVG members, and is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members. In addition, all persons who are precluded from participating in gambling activities as determined in the Sun International Employees, Suppliers, Service Providers and Concessionaires Gambling Policy may not participate in this gaming promotion.
  3. Participating casinos: Boardwalk, Carnival City, Flamingo, Golden Valley, GrandWest, Meropa, Sibaya, Sun City, Time Square, Wild Coast Sun and Windmill (“participating casinos”)
  1. Sun MVG members must earn slots Raceday points whilst using use their MVG cards during the gaming promotion in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Sun MVG programme.
  2. A maximum of Five entries will be allowed per Sun MVG member during the promotion.
  3. Sun MVG members must earn slots Raceday points during the specific period to be eligible for entry into the race which is to be held during the advertised time(s).
  4. This gaming promotion excludes all slot machines within the Prive(s) at the participating casinos and will commence on 8 August 2023 and will terminate on 31 October 2023.
  5. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration.
  6. Participants must activate their entry into the race(s), on the day of the race(s) prior to the actual race(s) within the specified times.
  7. Winnings are paid in Xtra Play only.
  8. Prizes are awarded as described in the corresponding casino’s prize schedule which may not necessarily be identical to other participating casinos. The relevant information may be sought from the casino(s) concerned.
  9. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must positively identify themselves by producing a government issued identification document when signing for receipt of their prizes.
  10. All decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.
  11. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotional competition will be disqualified.
  12. It is possible for technical failures or system malfunctions to occur. In such instances the “participating casino”, its management, employees or agents shall not accept any liability for any damages or claim whatsoever and howsoever arising from the afore going occurrences.
  13. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
  14. Every participant in the gaming promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
  15. In the event that management makes any exception or deviation from these rules, it does not mean that the casino waives any of its rights.
  16. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found not to be enforceable by law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force to the full extent that is permissible by law.
  17. These gaming promotion rules are the official rules for this gaming promotion and supersedes any other version. Copies of these rules are available at the Sun MVG Desk upon request and at suninternational.com.
  18. Management reserves the right to terminate this gaming promotion without prior notice.
